Sethian Church



A contemporary interpretation of Sethianism, the Sethian Church is a religious community that encourages its members to explore all the various messengers and messages of The Great Invisible Spirit while preserving the importance of the Jesus story to our modern fragmented lives. We seek the wholeness of Divinity even when it wears the face of that Trickster known as Yaldabaoth, since Gnosis can be born from the creativity of chaos. We embrace a mystical and magical approach in order to amplify our encounters with gnosis and accelerate each person's spiritual development.

As the "Unshakable Race,"
we strive to remain awake
to who we are,
where we are from,
and to where we are returning.

First formally organized in 2008, the Church is committed to developing a Universalist form of Sethianism that is more available to today's spiritually restless adventurers. A Congregationalist structure is employed to enhance autonomy
and encourage diversity of beliefs and practices.
